Throw all the bums OUT.......
I said all along that no matter who is elected President our national security policies would be the same. This is because: Job one for the President of the United States is national security. Failure to do a good job and we could end up with a nuclear device in NYC. So if you thought Obama was going to be much different than Bush in this area you were fooled again. I say again because chances are you were fooled by the Democrats in the congressional elections a few years ago when they said they would stop funding the war. If your a Republican reading this don't be to smug...George Bush ran as a fiscal conservative. Doesn't matter the party these guys all seem to be liars. The easiest solution is term limits....

Stuff...
Been very cold for November, it's more like January weather. Bike Taxi is dead. I've been watching Jack in the mornings since he is out of school. He stays with Dolly in the PM so I still have plenty of time to kill. Lots of yoga and if it warms up and the wind stops blowing I'm going to start rowing.
I bought a Bark-O-Lounger and a 47" TV. Scooter and I like to take a nap in the lounger.

With all the bail-outs, talk of universal health care, disaster assistance, social security, Medicaid, farm aid, food stamps, public housing, job training, public education and public works it obvious we are headed for socialism.
Since there is so much support for this trend from the liberal media and Hollywood elites I think their industries should be the first to be nationalized. This way they could get a taste of having not only their tax rates but their compensation determined by the federal bureaucracy instead of the ugly old free market. I think we all agree that a very talanted person like Sean Penn should be compensated more than the average person, even if he is working for a nationalized company. Many of you will think this too liberal but I think Sean should be paid four times the minium hourly wage for his work in National Movies.

We didn't come here for a free ride.
All the rich McCain people should make way for the new order and can make a nice start by cutting their work load by 40%. Now that the disenfranchised have their political agenda attended to the McCain people can sit back and let them live the American Dream. You know...GET OFF YOUR ASS AND START WORKING 80 HOUR WEEKS.
I wish people would wake up and see what this election was all about..personal and community responsibility. Here is how we should handle the major problems in this country: Abortion: take a pill. Welfare: get a job. Natural disasters: buy insurance. Public transportation: ride a bike, buy a car, walk. Housing: save you money, work 2 jobs. Education: local community responsibility. Agriculture: supply and demand. Energy: supply and demand. Taxes: flat tax. Are you getting the picture?
But no the people want the most inefficient system in the world to do these things for them. So WE pay 50-60% more for the same services when they are provided by government. Duh!
Look, I'm a retired, I get up early 7 days a week, ride a bicycle 4 miles to work and 4 miles back home, at work I ride a bike taxi 3-4 hours per day. Damn if I want my taxes helping anyone physically and mentally able to work. They can do like I've done..get an education, mow lawns, cut firewood, drive a tractor, deliver papers, ride a bike taxi, start a business, buy a house, provide for a family, buy insurance, pay medical bills.
