Marathon training


I'm looking for a new project and in keeping with my simplicity theme figured it doesn't get anymore basic than running or in my case run/walk. Add a pair of shorts to these shoes and you're in business [actually, there was a guy at one marathon we ran in who ran bare foot and another crazy who ran over 50 marathons in sandals].
Did 4 miles this Saturday morning. Now all I have to do is add a mile per week to my long run for 16 weeks. Then after a couple weeks to tapper off I should be ready for a marathon on week 18. This assumes I don't fall apart some where along the line.
