Making friends

This parking lot, right in the Market, belongs to the 1st Baptist Church
which rents spaces but also keeps reserved spots for their gymnasium located on
the upper end.

I was sitting across the street and over heard a Touron bitching about not
being able to get a parking place when there were so many empty spots in this
lot.

Trying to be helpful I suggested, "Get a bottle of whiskey and a couple
decks of cards. Visit with the people in that building and I'm sure they'll jump
at the chance to help you out."

new bike

Got my new bike last week. It has a tag that says custom built for Pedicab Man. It's a fold-up you can carry in a suitcase and not pay extra to ship when you fly. It has 20" wheels. My daughter was laughing so hard when I was putting it together in the living room that I told Scooter to bite her on the ass but the little shit never does anything he is told unless you throw his stupid ball and say "fetch." Raccoon Lady says that if I get a big horn and a clown costume I can join the circus and Jennifer says the bike suitcase should carry all my stuff [not funny]. I told Jennifer that she should show me some respect cause she wouldn't be here if I hadn't diddled her mother. She said she didn't ask to be here. I don't know how to send her back so I guess we're stuck with each other even if she has shit for a sense of humor.

Cheap Week

Heard of Bike Week?

Matt and I were setting around in the market on our pedicabs trying to figure out why we were getting so few rides and no tips when Matt found the answer, "Cheap Week!".

Plenty of people, lots of disabled folks but too darn many tour buses. Cheap week is alive and well. I'll mark on my calender and go on vacation next year. If we could just figure away to get a quarter for giving directions [cheap and can't read a map week].

Pedicab deliveries?

This isn't us but sometimes this is how it feels only without the
cooley hat.

We are trying to increase our business in the wedding transportation area
and have a new blog for this service:

Leadership?

Why are these guys smiling? Under their watch we have a generation of black children who don't speak English well enough to work at McDonalds and there are more Black men of college age in jail than in college. In the mean time, they spend their time lynching that idiot cowboy Imus, forgetting all about his First Amendment Right to free speech.

All these people [Imus, Jessy and Al] need to quit being raciest and start working together on educating the next generation of kids.

Spring break

Yesterday it was a zoo at the Double Tree when I arrive to give out cards. I'm hanging out wait to get in the door and some guy comes busting in hollering, "Out of the way, out of the way coming through."

I look up and see the Polo Carriage Lady and say to her, "Yankee!."

She says, "No. Damn Yankee!."

The three things people in Charleston hate most are copperheads, hurricanes and a car with a yankee tag pulling a u-haul.

NCAA Insanity

Higher education! Student athletics! My ass.

I watch Florida beat Ohio State last night on TV, including the post game interviews with the winning players. One thing these guys did not learn in college was English. Then again, maybe Ebonics is the official language at the University of Florida?

At least the illegal immigrants my friends bitch about can speak THEIR language.
